School Clubs

School Clubs

At Manor Junior School, we are committed to providing our students with a well-rounded educational experience that nurtures their passions, talents and interests. Our enrichment opportunities are designed to inspire curiosity, interleave with our curriculum, include all of our pupils and develop independence.

Sports, Arts, and Academic Clubs

Each half term, Manor Junior School offers a range of sports, arts, and academic clubs for our students to choose from. These clubs help pupils to pursue their passions, develop new skills and develop independence through creating friendships outside of their class or year group.

Monitoring Uptake and Encouraging Participation

Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do at Manor Junior School and we work hard to ensure that all students have the chance to participate in our enrichment activities. To achieve this, we closely monitor the uptake of clubs and actively encourage participation throughout the academic year.

Celebrating Achievement

We take great pride in celebrating the achievements of our students in their chosen enrichment activities. Whether it's a winning sports team, an outstanding work of art or academic excellence showcased through competitions and projects, we recognize and celebrate the achievements of our pupils in our weekly ‘Golden assemblies’. These moments of celebration help to motivate our pupils to strive for excellence, share joy in our achievements and strive for success.
